STILETTO SISTERS
"Luscious, exciting and virtuosic" are words that easily spring to
mind regarding both the music and the musicians themselves in the Stiletto Sisters.
Gypsy melodies, seductive tango rhythms and sensuous songs from Europe and Latin America are their staple - this is music to swoon by.
The Stiletto Sisters are a dynamic and vibrant trio featuring the sparkling eyes and ready
smiles of Hope Csutoros on violin, Judy Gunson on piano accordion, and double bassist Jo To.
The Stiletto Sisters perform regularly to packed houses in their home town of Melbourne. They have toured to the prestigious Four Winds Festival in Bermagui,
as well as to Sydney and Adelaide, including
performances at
the Famous Spiegeltent.
HOPE studied at the Victorian College of The Arts
and at the Budapest Franz Lizst Academy of Music in Hungary. She has toured extensively in Europe, the UK, Singapore and Japan
with a variety of groups. Performing credits include projects as diverse as the State Orchestra of Victoria, "The Phantom
Of The Opera" orchestra, inspired contemporary pop group "My Friend The Chocolate Cake", Cosmo Cosmolino, and Deflocked String
Quartet. Hope is currently in great demand as a recording session artist for film music, contemporary classical, and
also recording with popular artists such as Midnight Oil and Deborah Conway.

JUDY studied the piano and completed her music degree
at Latrobe University. She worked for many years as performer and composer with a number of acts -- particularly the celebrated
Melbourne theatre group Anthill Theatre. Judy has toured extensively in Australia and played at festivals in Latin America,
Europe and Asia with the Melbourne’s acclaimed Chamber Made Opera Company. Although Judy was always singing --
she remembers being asked regularly to be quiet by family and friends -- her singing career began as a chorister and choir
soloist for six years with Melbourne’s renowned Astra Choir. More recently she has developed as a solo performer who
is comfortable with repertoires as diverse as classical, country, cabaret and jazz. Judy performs on a regular basis with
Melbourne gypsy quintet Cosmo Cosmolino, Stiletto Sisters, and The Country Party – as accordionist, pianist and singer.
